About The Role

As a CBRE Material Handling Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for complex installation, preventive maintenance, and the corrective repair of automated packing and distribution equipment. This role is part of the Material Handling job function, focusing on the movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts.

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical and safety training.
• Support efficiency improvement Kaizen activities for the site and network.
• Develop and implement department business plans and budgets.
• Manage projects and daily activities to meet deadlines and goals.
• Conduct regular maintenance to keep material handling equipment in optimal condition.
• Identify and locate products during delivery.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Check safety system functionality.
• Apply standard principles with limited practical experience.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Impact work quality and work within standardized procedures to meet objectives.
• Communicate clearly, ask questions, and ensure understanding.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Experience and education combined may be considered.
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as stooping, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills for calculations involving percentages, fractions, etc.
