Qualifications

Job description

Job Overview:

Senior Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager provides direction to the maintenance department with a focus on timely preventative and corrective maintenance of the facility, manufacturing, and auxiliary equipment to ensure safe and consistent operation. The role includes developing, coaching, and training staff to support evolving equipment needs, managing annual budgets, and applying lean manufacturing principles such as 5-S and TPM.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain programs for the operation and repair of all production and support equipment to meet KDP quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal customers to support plant-wide operations.
  • Support site objectives by directing safe and efficient preventative and corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and develop predictive equipment monitoring processes.
  • Supervise direct reports, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and coaching, to build a skilled and team-oriented workforce.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment and enforce safety compliance.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, including spare parts inventories and capital planning, focusing on cost minimization and productivity.
  • Support the introduction of new technology.
  • Monitor work orders and parts management within SAP.
  • Implement Lean Daily Management (LDM), including identifying performance indicators and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain plant security and support other KDP entities as needed.

Total Rewards:

  • Salary range: $123,300 - $165,000

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred, with 7 years manufacturing experience, ideally in food, pharmaceutical, or beverage sectors
  • Management or supervisory experience in maintenance or production in high-volume environments
  • Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as needed
  • TPM Certifications, Lean Six Sigma, or continuous improvement strategies highly desirable
  • Experience with plant maintenance software, SAP, and Planview preferred
