Join to apply for the Sr. Machinist role at Deceuninck North America

Deceuninck North America is seeking a Sr. Machinist for its Monroe, OH facility. In this role, the Sr. Machinist will manufacture components of extrusion tooling and perform machining work that supports other departments. This position also assists Die Makers in the assembly and tuning of extrusion tooling.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Operate machine tools including lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and saws (Non-CNC).
  2. Perform die and sizer work as assigned by Die Makers.
  3. Machine replacement parts for Production Maintenance.
  4. Sharpen grinder blades for PVC grinders used by compounding.
  5. Maintain and repair vacuum mist tanks, calibrators, and extruders.
  6. Maintain and repair extrusion line notchers.
  7. Perform secondary operations on rails and sizer boxes machined by the CNC group.
  8. Train and assign work to junior machinists and machinists’ helpers.
Qualifications
  1. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting all machines in the Toolroom.
  2. Ability to solve complex problems using fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, statistics, and geometry.
Education
  1. College or trade school (preferred).
  2. Formal machine trades training (preferred).
