Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of Microsoft 365 engineering or administration experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview compliance solutions.
• Extensive experience with eDiscovery (Standard and Premium), Legal Holds, Content Search and Compliance Portal Administration.
• Strong experience administering Exchange Online and related security/compliance features.
• Proficiency with PowerShell automation and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, plus strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

• Manage eDiscovery activities including content searches, legal holds, custodian management, review sets, data exports, and case management.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Security, Privacy, and Records Management teams.

• Administer and support Exchange Online environments including mail flow, mailboxes, and retention policies.

Description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer with 5 to 10 years of hands‑on Microsoft 365 administration and engineering experience, including significant expertise in Microsoft Purview, eDiscovery, and Exchange Online. The primary focus of this role is supporting and enhancing the organization's compliance, legal hold, information governance, and investigative capabilities within Microsoft Purview. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of eDiscovery processes, data retention, content search, legal hold management, and compliance operations across Microsoft 365 workloads. Experience with additional Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Purview and eDiscovery (Primary Focus) Administer and support Microsoft Purview compliance solutions.

Manage eDiscovery (Standard and Premium) activities, including:

• Content Searches
• Legal Holds
• Custodian Management
• Review Sets
• Data Exports
• Case Management Support internal investigations, litigation requests, regulatory inquiries, and audit activities.

Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Security, Privacy, and Records Management teams.

Perform advanced searches and data collection activities across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.

Exchange Online Administer and support Exchange Online environments. Manage mail flow, mailboxes, permissions, transport rules, retention policies, and compliance configurations. Troubleshoot messaging issues and support security and compliance requirements. Assist with email discovery, preservation, and retention activities.

Microsoft 365 Platform Support Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services across the enterprise. Support integrations, migrations, and optimization initiatives involving Microsoft 365 technologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications 5 to 10 years of Microsoft 365 engineering or administration experience. 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview compliance solutions. Strong practical experience with: o eDiscovery (Standard and Premium) o Legal Holds o Content Search o Compliance Portal Administration Extensive experience administering Exchange Online. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities. Experience supporting legal, compliance, audit, or records management functions. Experience with PowerShell automation and Microsoft 365 administration. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
