Job summary

Security Service Federal Credit Union is seeking an Indirect Lending Officer in Texas to solicit, analyze, and decide dealer-generated indirect credit applications for collateralized loans. You will maintain reporting to monitor lending practices and help drive loan volume while upholding SSFCU values.

Job description

Solicits, analyzes, evaluates, and decisions dealer generated indirect credit applications for purchase of collateralized loans. Analyzes and evaluates credit offerings from dealer generated indirect credit applications for purchase of collateralized loans, while maintaining established credit policy standards. Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly tracking reports to monitor credit equality, established lending practices, contract acquisition efficiency ratios, and any other performance indicators as needed. Monitors the competition for changes in rates, terms, and lending practices that may affect the competitiveness of SSFCU and provide Indirect Lending Management with viable suggestions that are in keeping with the credit union business plan. Cultivates and maintains supportive relationships by providing professional and expeditious service to the indirect dealer base promoting growth in loan volume. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

What We Require:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum of three (3) years of Indirect Loan Officer or comparable experience

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with members, management, and dealerships. Ability to excel in a high volume environment with minimal supervision. Basic knowledge of various office automation software.
