Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is hiring an external loads analyst to design and analyze the Transfer Stage spacecraft. You will perform loads development, integrate with other spacecraft and rockets, and support subsystem teams with static and dynamic loads environments.

This is a high-impact role where your loads expertise directly supports humanity's return to the Moon. A B.S. in engineering and 6+ years of relevant experience are required, with hands-on experience in FEA and dynamic analysis.

Qualifications

  • Minimum a B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace or civil engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience in the prediction/validation of low and/or high frequency structural dynamics and loads, in addition to finite element modeling
  • Solid foundation of structural static/dynamic fundamentals
  • Passion for spacecraft structural/environmental loads development/validation
  • Ability to solve a variety of static and dynamic structural problems using physics-based analytical methods (hand calculations, in-house tools, and 3rd party commercial analytical tools)
  • Experience with spacecraft loads development, including Craig Bampton model reduction and coupled loads analyses with other rockets / spacecraft

Blue Origin is hiring an external loads analyst to help design and analyze the Transfer Stage spacecraft. This role will involve loads development (both quasi-static and dynamic), loads integration with other spacecraft and rockets, and supporting subsystem teams with static and dynamic loads environments. This is a high-impact role where your loads expertise directly supports humanity's return to the Moon.

Qualifications

Base Pay Range for: WA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20
