Qualifications

  • 2 years of college or 4 years business experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance business organization and planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • PC proficiency incl. Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge and use of cloud applications is a bonus.
  • Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve licensing-related inquiries from producers, general agents, marketing partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on producer licensing requirements and processes to ensure data accuracy and support business objectives.

Job Summary

The Licensing Specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing producer/agent licensing applications, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and corporate regulatory requirements. This role manages and maintains producer (broker/agent) demographic information, insurance credentials, appointments, and licensing records to support organizational compliance and operational excellence.

  • Researching and resolving licensing-related inquiries from producers, general agents, marketing partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • 2 years of college or 4 years business experience.

  • PC proficiency to include MS Office products such as Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge and use of cloud applications is a bonus.
  • Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Preferred Job Requirements
  • 2 years of firsthand experience managing and maintaining insurance agent broker license and appointments.
  • Knowledge of NIPR, SBS, Sircon applications.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience.

This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range $18.46 - $37.84 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
