Job summary

Peloton seeks a Learning Experience Designer to build scalable learning experiences across management programs, onboarding, and skills‑based learning. You will partner with SMEs and HR to transform complex ideas into engaging content that aligns with Peloton’s brand and impact metrics.

You’ll design for multiple modalities and apply evidence‑based design principles, using AI‑assisted tools to accelerate development while maintaining a rich learner experience.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design.
  • Experience developing content for management and leadership programs.
  • Proficiency with multiple modalities: eLearning, ILT, blended, microlearning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle instructional design for diverse formats (eLearning, VILT, job aids, microlearning, blended).
  • Develop production‑quality eLearning and multimedia content using Articulate 360, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Create facilitator guides, participant workbooks, slides, and digital job aids reflecting Peloton’s brand.
  • Translate business needs and learning objectives into engaging, outcomes‑driven content.
  • Apply adult learning theory and evidence‑based design for impact and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with L&D leadership to upload and deploy content in the LMS.

We are seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join our Learning & Development team. Someone who is a creative, detail-oriented builder who can transform complex ideas into compelling, engaging, and measurable learning experiences. They’ll be responsible for designing and developing scalable learning assets that support our management programs, onboarding suite, and skills-based learning strategy.

Reporting to the Director, Learning and Development, you will partner closely with subject matter experts, People Business Partners, and external vendors to build experiences that are not just informative, but truly transformative.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
  • Lead full-cycle instructional design for a variety of learning formats including eLearning modules, virtual instructor‑led training (VILT), job aids, microlearning, and blended learning programs using methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, and Agile
  • Develop production‑quality eLearning and multimedia content using Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, Gemini, and Notebook LM
  • Create visually compelling supporting materials including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, slide decks, and digital job aids that reflect Peloton’s brand and voice
  • Partner with the Director, Learning and Development and internal subject matter experts to translate business needs and learning objectives into engaging, outcomes‑driven content
  • Apply adult learning theory and evidence‑based design principles to ensure all content is relevant, accessible, and designed for impact
  • Partner with the Learning Technology and Operations Specialist to ensure all content is properly uploaded, tested, and deployed in the LMS
  • Continuously iterate on existing content based on learner feedback, program data, and evolving business priorities
  • Leverage AI‑based tools and emerging learning technologies to accelerate content development and enhance learner experience, helping position Peloton as a trailblazer in the L&D space
  • Collaborate across the Global Talent team, including Talent Management and Talent Acquisition, to develop content that supports the full employee lifecycle
  • Support the development of skills‑based learning assets that deliver bite‑sized, engaging learning in the flow of work
  • Participate in program evaluation efforts, analyzing learner feedback and completion data to recommend and implement content improvements
  • Stay current on instructional design trends, tools, and best practices, proactively sharing insights that push Peloton’s learning experiences forward
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
  • 4–6 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a closely related field, ideally within a corporate or high‑growth environment
  • Working knowledge of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or Agile) and adult learning theory
  • Experience developing content for all‑staff, management, and leadership programs
  • Experience designing for multiple modalities: eLearning, ILT, blended, microlearning, and performance support tools
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline and/or Rise) is required; experience with Vyond and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Illustrator, or Photoshop) strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage full course development life cycles independently
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to write in an authentic, on‑brand voice that resonates with diverse audiences
  • Deep care about how learning looks and feels, not just what it says
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (Seismic experience a plus) and ability to manage content deployment and maintenance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • A collaborative, low‑ego orientation that moves you to step in to support Talent team members in bringing their best and lifting people up

Base Salary Range: $123,600 – $151,850 USD
