Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect with 7+ years of experience in Land Development, Planning, and Landscape Architecture for a position in their Charlotte, NC office.

Job Description

The position will be a part of a growing Landscape Architecture/Land Planning Team and will work on a variety of both private and public land development projects. Recent experience in residential Land Planning is highly favored. Project types will include residential, institutional, commercial, and recreational.

The position requires the following:

• Collaboration with other design disciplines
• Work within a team on various project related tasks
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong graphic communication skills both by hand and digital means
• Creative problem solving
• Ability to follow schedule and budget commitments
• Licensure or ability to obtain within one year is strongly preferred

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in landscape architecture, land planning or related discipline from an ASLA accredited school is required
• Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from accredited school is a plus
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Landscape Architecture/Land Planning
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD required.
• Knowledge of PhotoShop, InDesign, and SketchUp is a plus
• Local candidates preferred
• Strong portfolio is preferred / Please include when applying
