**Job Description:**

GDIT has supported the IHS mission for over 20 years, providing services to improve health access for 2.6 million American Indians and Alaska Natives. The role involves modernizing the EHR platform to enhance data access, patient experience, and quality of care across multiple tribes and facilities.

We are seeking a **Sr. Knowledge Management Specialist** for the **Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM)** program. The specialist will support the PMO in contract management and knowledge management efforts.

**_This position is fully remote!_**

How a Sr. Knowledge Management Specialist Will Make an Impact:
  • Support KM and SharePoint teams primarily, with secondary support to the program team (80% KM/SP, 20% program/meeting support)
  • Monitor, triage, and resolve KM tickets with stakeholders
  • Assist with SharePoint content uploads, metadata tagging, and document management
  • Conduct SharePoint governance reviews
  • Support SOP documentation and development
  • Assist in building and formalizing the Lessons Learned database
  • Participate in SharePoint site cleanup activities
  • Coordinate meetings, document action items, and capture accurate minutes
  • Provide coverage during staff leave for overlapping or conflicting meetings
  • Support GovSlack administration
  • Assist with communication coordination and reporting
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent
  • Expertise in SharePoint (libraries, metadata, permissions)
  • Experience documenting meeting minutes and action items
  • Supporting technical, clinical, or PMO teams
  • Supporting change management, reporting, and workflow tracking
  • Issue resolution and escalation experience
  • Tracking milestone progress during development and implementation
  • Coordinating communication across teams
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, if needed

  • Experience with GovSlack, Slack, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge management concepts and documentation practices
  • Supporting federal contract program managers
