Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer - Onsite.

We are looking for a highly skilled developer. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Full stack Java development, Spring framework, SQL, and REST API. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities, including different planning strategies. By ensuring robust and efficient system operations, the candidate will play a key role in advancing our company's mission.

Location: Minneapolis, MN / Irving, TX / Atlanta, GA / Chicago, IL / New York, NY - USA (Onsite)

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Hands of development of Stories assigned.
• Unit and integration testing using JUnit.
• Familiar DevOps tools and experience in CI/CD software.
• Experience in Agile methodology.
• Git with Branch and Release Management.
• Familiar with Azure or AWS Cloud Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related, and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Skilled Full stack Java Developer with experience using Java, Spring boot and SQL.
• At least 5 years of experience with development of API's with Graph QL or REST.
• Experience working with Spring Framework (Spring boot/Spring batch/Spring cloud).
• Experience designing and implementing microservices end to end.
• Good Understanding of containerized applications.
• Experience with dev ops tools (Jenkins/Git/Rancher).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Mockito or Junit.
• Experience on Integration with Ping Federation & Apigee.
• Good to have cloud experience using Azure.
• Good to have experience with SQL Server and Cassandra Databases or similar.
• Good experience with UML Diagram creation with Visio or draw.io.
• Nice to have React UI experience.

Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position will be between $68k - $114,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
