Job summary

Beacon Hill seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, in a fully remote setting within the United States.

You will design APIs, work with REST/SOAP/MQ, and contribute to cloud migration, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies while mentoring team members.

Senior Software Development Engineer (Java / Cloud) (Remote)

We’re seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to help design, build, and enhance enterprise applications that support critical business operations. This role combines hands‑on software development with technical leadership, offering the opportunity to influence application strategy, mentor team members, and drive modernization initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

What We’re Looking For

• Exposure to large‑scale legacy application environments and modernization efforts.
