Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid‑Skill Java Developer to join the Foundry Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java development, experience with Gradle, and proficiency in working with either IntelliJ or Eclipse. This role primarily focuses on enhancing existing Java codebases by creating new classes that implement established interfaces. Additionally, the candidate should understand the complex business login in energy and utility space and be an expert in handling complex scenarios for a given problem statement. Candidate should exhibit a willingness to learn and apply basic Palantir Foundry concepts for effective testing. Experience in handling near‑time data stream processing is must. Experience with Flink or Kafka will be considered as a big plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Candidate must play Tech Lead role and should be able to handle large Java code base independently.
• Collaborate with the development team to enhance and extend existing Java codebases.
• Create new classes that implement existing interfaces, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Identify and address edge cases and corner scenarios in complex systems, enhancing system reliability and stability.
• Continuously learn and apply basic Foundry principles to support efficient testing and validation of Java code.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and actively seeking feedback for self‑improvement.
• Should have exposure in building UDFs in Java.
