Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
SpaceX is seeking a Sr. IT Systems Administrator, IT Applications to lead the Atlassian stack and drive integrations across SaaS platforms, CRM, ERP, and billing systems.
You will design RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and secure webhooks, while mentoring teammates in a fast‑paced environment. You will upgrade Atlassian apps in large Linux clusters, implement monitoring, and develop clear documentation for internal users and stakeholders.
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
As a Senior IT Systems Administrator, you will serve as a key technical leader and Subject Matter Expert for our collaborative platforms—especially the full Atlassian suite (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and more)—while architecting and maintaining critical integrations that connect SaaS tools, CRM, ERP, billing systems, and internal applications.
You will design, build, and support RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and webhooks with a strong focus on security, reliability, data transformation, and real‑time synchronization. You’ll identify automation opportunities, implement monitoring and alerting, create clear documentation, and partner directly with stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve efficiency across the organization. You’ll also lead upgrades of Atlassian applications in large, clustered Linux environments, manage complex workflows and schemes, and help mentor others while working in a fast‑paced, high‑impact setting.
This is a hands‑on senior role for someone who combines deep technical expertise in integrations and Atlassian administration with strong customer‑facing and problem‑solving skills. If you want to shape the systems that enable ambitious teams to move faster and more reliably, we want you to apply!

We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have or have ever had a disability or have ever had a disability. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
