Job summary

  • Define processes and build tooling to support the expansion of resources while maintaining or reducing risks and remediating gaps in change management workflows.
  • Work with stakeholders to improve value streams and operation efficiencies for broader company impact and the scaling of systemic updates.

GLOBAL OPERATIONS ENGINEER (PRODUCT & CHANGE MANAGEMENT)

Starlink is delivering high-speed broadband internet around the world. This role combines traditional business planning and analysis with broader business strategy and decision-making, offering direct support to Starlink leadership. The Global Operations team sits at the heart of daily operations, driving both near-term execution and long-term planning. In this position, you will analyze data, craft actionable recommendations, and lead cross-functional efforts to make and implement key decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Guide planning and resource management across multiple verticals of Starlink for product and change management, including development of business models.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, business, economics, or finance.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations/process improvements.
  • 2+ years of experience with Excel, SQL, and Python.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Demonstrated success working in an environment with competing priorities and aggressive schedules.
  • Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Proficiency with statistics, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Ability to define and manage a project independently.
  • Experience with inventory, product, capacity planning (including MRP/ERP systems).
  • Experience with lean, six sigma, and other related production principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders.
ADDTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Must be willingness to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
