Sr. IT Subject Matter Expert

Job Description

As an IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CGS, you will provide expertise in application and systems software to key stakeholders. Your responsibilities include analyzing complex hardware, software, and telecommunication systems to define processes and procedures across departments. You will assist with the design, development, documentation, and delivery of standard operating procedures, presentations, and training materials for diverse audiences. The ideal candidate possesses extensive technical experience and a broad skill set.

Skills and Attributes for Success

1. Assess and redefine procedures/standards using your expertise and best practices.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders and system users to improve understanding of agency systems.
3. Coordinate with IT and Business teams on program goals, requirements, and performance analysis.
4. Recommend improvements for IT systems and business initiatives.
5. Develop documentation for processes and technology needs.
6. Define upgrade or replacement strategies for information systems.
7. Support the operation and maintenance of complex IT systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience with OBIEE, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
• Knowledge of data governance, management, modeling, cleansing, extraction, transformation, analysis, migration, and mapping.
• 7+ years’ experience with PL/SQL.
• Experience with Agile methodology and data analytics tools like ADVANA is highly desirable.
• Experience with UNIX OS, Java, SFTO, and APEX is highly desirable.
