Amyx is seeking to hire a Cloud Computing Specialist (CCS) - Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our DLA client remotely.






Responsibilities




CLOUD COMPUTING SPECIALIST (CCS) - SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (SME)

Serves as an Information Assurance and Cloud computing SME with regards to Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and a broad coverage of the application of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards and guidance as outlined in the NIST Special Publication(s) (SP) 800-53 and 800-37 (Current versions).

The CCS shall maintain current certification as a Certified Cloud Security Professional. Possesses the ability to work independently with substantial cloud computing security knowledge. The assessor must have the essential skillsets to identify, manage and resolve cloud computing security risk and implement "best practices" as applied within a cloud environment (across all of the different deployment and service models, and derivatives). The CCS must be well versed in FedRAMP assessment methodology of security and privacy controls deployed in cloud information systems to include six (6) domain areas.

The six domains include:

* Architectural Concepts & Design Requirements

* Cloud Data Security

* Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Security

* Cloud Application Security

* Operations

* Legal & Compliance






Qualifications




Minimum Qualifications:

* Five (5) years of relevant C&A experience; Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience

* DOD IA experience

* Required to possess a DOD SECRET Clearance and be eligible for an IT II at time of non-contingency job acceptance

* Cloud Computing Security Certification (i.e., Cloud Computing Security Professional [CCSP] and Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge [CCSK] or equivalent) - See preferred qualifications for equivalency

* Certification meeting the DOD 8570.01 IAM l requirement standard

* Five (5) years experience in assessing IA Controls and conducting C&A reviews for large, complex Information systems

Minimum Experience:

* Five (5) years' experience in OCI administration, maintenance and support.

* Possess OCI IT Service experience in multiple technical areas (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering), policies and STIGs; and Communications and Network Systems Management, tenancy services and application related Performance Monitoring

* 2 years' experience with Autonomous Database Oracle Enterprise Database and/or Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS) management and support

* Proven experience solving difficult problems in all areas of cloud service software engineering: high-scale distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, identity, security, observability, and user experience.

* Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Oracle Kubernetes (OKE)

* Programming/scripting knowledge for automation of tasks (e. g. OCI compliant Ansible, HELM, Terraform, etc.)

* Experience with configuration of security settings such as Oracle CloudGuard

* Experience administering middle and web tiers, single sign-on (SSO), and creating and managing users and groups

* Experience in researching and recommending and implementing new OCI services as they become available to the Tenancy that will benefit operations

* 1 or more current OCI Certifications in Foundations, Databases, DevOps, Security or Networking and Operations

Preferred Qualifications:

Possess a general understanding of the breadth of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure technologies, applications and services. Work closely with the DLA AMPS PMO and provide DLA tenancy services and deliver additional capabilities to the AMPS OCI hosting environment and secure and isolate the tenancy to create, organize, integrate and administer cloud resources.
