Join to apply for the Sr. IT Subject Matter Expert role at CGS Federal (Contact Government Services)

Employment Type: Full Time, Experienced level

Department: Information Technology

As an IT Subject Matter Expert (SME), for CGS, you will provide expertise in application and systems software to a variety of key stakeholders. You will undertake an analysis of complex hardware, software, and telecommunication systems to help define processes and procedures across departments. You will assist with and consult on the design, development, documentation, and delivery of standard operating procedures, presentations, and training materials for diverse audiences. A successful candidate must possess extensive technical experience and performance in broad knowledge areas.

Skills And Attributes For Success
  • Assess and, as necessary, redefine procedures and standards using your knowledge and best practices
  • Work with key stakeholders and system users to enhance understanding of agency systems
  • Coordinate with IT and Business experts on program goals, requirements, performance analysis, and innovation projects
  • Recommend improvements in IT systems and business ventures
  • Develop procedures, manuals, and documentation for processes and technology needs
  • Define upgrade or replacement strategies for information systems
  • Support the operation and maintenance of complex IT systems
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in OBIEE, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a clearance
  • Knowledge of data governance, data management, data modeling, data cleansing, data extraction and transformation, data analysis, data migration, data integration, and data mapping
  • 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL
  • Experience with Agile Methodology and Data Analytics tools (e.g., ADVANA) is highly desired
  • Experience with UNIX OS, Java, SFTO, and APEX is highly desired

Salary Range: $169,228.80 - $244,441.60 annually
