Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking an Information Security professional to manage, monitor, and maintain security systems across the company’s IT landscape, implementing defenses and best practices. You will perform daily administration of IDS/IPS, firewalls, encryption, anti-virus, and log reviews; handle escalations and collaborate with users and vendors to resolve security issues.

• Specialty training beyond high school in Information Technology or Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years related information security and/or IT networking experience.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Information Technology.
• At least 5 years related Information Security and/or IT networking experience.
• Certification in GSEC, CCNA/NP/DA, Any SANS Certification and/or CISSP.

Job Category: Information Technology POSITION PURPOSE: Manages, monitors and maintains all related Information Security systems. Reviews, recommends, configures and implements Information Security solutions for the Company.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Specialty training beyond high school in Information Technology, Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Information Technology.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
