  • Manage engagement of the assigned project team members to execute the project.
  • Develop team dynamics and provide training and coaching.
  • Ensure project communications support successful completion with stakeholder analysis and change management planning.
  • Be the single point of contact for the program/project for all key stakeholders.
  • Ensure lessons learned are documented and disseminated.
  • Create the project plan with sufficient detail for resource estimation.
  • Facilitate agreement on high level project goals and measures of success.

Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager is the leader of one or several projects, programs or workstreams of medium complexity. Stakeholders may include external functional leaders, producer business unit (PBU) leaders and outside customer leaders. Operate with minimal supervision from directors or managers. Accountable to deliver business case of assigned projects (within their defined responsibility) - In-line with project assumptions. Ensure all projects align with business unit strategies and the strategic road map. Communicate (as needed) to keep the project aligned with the changing needs of the business. Manage individual projects with project management discipline and attention to all key areas (including, but not limited to, stakeholder, scope, cost and time management). Manage assigned resources (full-time, part-time or contract team members) to work together as a highly effective team - Delivering on the objectives of the project and driving business results.


What You'll Do


  • Align projects with corporate strategy and enable the team/sponsors to adequately plan for the execution and success of the project.

  • Manage uncertainties (on the project) with appropriate contingency/mitigation plans. This includes documenting and maintaining risks and issues of the project.

  • Monitor and control the project throughout its life cycle.

  • Maintain the project plan to ensure project success.

  • Assure project scope changes are documented and approved.

  • Manage (either formally or through influence) the engagement of the assigned project team members to successfully execute the project.

  • Develop team dynamics and individual team members with required training and coaching.

  • Ensure project communications support successful completion. This includes proper stakeholder analysis, communication planning, organizational change management analysis and planning.

  • Be a single point of contact for the program/project for all key stakeholders in corporate, the business unit, the plant, or other functional organizations.

  • Ensure lessons learned are documented and routed to appropriate stakeholders for dissemination.

  • Work with assigned project team members and contributors to successfully create the project plan with sufficient detail to enable resource estimation.

  • Work with the Project Sponsor and major stakeholders to facilitate agreement on high level project goals being addressed, as well as key measures of success.


What We're Looking For
