Job description

As an SAP Production Planning consultant specializing in S/4 HANA, you will provide expertise in configuring, implementing, and optimizing the Production Planning, Execution and Quality Management modules within SAP S/4 HANA.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into effective solutions, configure and customize SAP systems, conduct design workshops, provide guidance on best practices, and execute project tasks to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: work closely with business stakeholders to understand and capture Production Planning, Execution and Quality Management processes.
• Solution Design: design SAP S/4 HANA solutions for PP and QM processes, incorporating industry best practices and business needs.
• Configuration and Customization: configure and customize PP & QM modules, including MRP Live, ePPDS, order types and related processes.
• Integration: collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless integration between PP/QM and other systems.
• Testing: develop and execute test scripts to verify that configured solutions meet business requirements.
• Training and Documentation: provide training to end users and create user manuals, configuration guides and training materials.
• Support and Maintenance: provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, apply patches and implement enhancements.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to improve processes using new SAP S/4 HANA features.
• Stakeholder Management: collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, developers and consultants to ensure project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP consultant specializing in PP and QM with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA.
• In‑depth knowledge of SAP Production Planning and Quality modules, including configuration, customization and integration.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, full lifecycle implementations and system conversions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
