SIMARN Solutions in Raritan, NJ is seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Lead Consultant to lead our IT Application Support team for MAKE processes in a dynamic S/4HANA environment. You will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and operations leaders to ensure production stability and successful SAP solutions delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of SAP experience with 3 full-cycle implementations and strong expertise in PP/QM/PM modules, with ECC/S/4HANA production support

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 3 full-cycle implementations.
• Strong expertise in two of the following modules: SAP PP, SAP QM, SAP PM.
• Hands-on SAP production support experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT Application team providing Tier-2/Tier-3 SAP functional support for MAKE processes including PP, QM, PM, and Subcontracting.
• Manage and resolve production incidents, service requests, and application issues with SLA.
• Collaborate with Business, Development, Integration, and Basis teams to troubleshoot SAP S/4HANA issues.
• Monitor SAP S/4HANA messaging and AIF monitoring for errors.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) initiatives and implement long-term solutions.
• Review enhancements and production deployments with knowledge transfer and documentation.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain runbooks and SOPs.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.
• Ensure robust transport management, change control, and production risk mitigation.

Are you a seasoned SAP professional with deep expertise in Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM)? We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/QM Lead Consultant to lead our IT Application Support team and drive operational excellence across critical MAKE business processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic S/4HANA environment, partnering closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and operations leaders to ensure production stability, continuous improvement, and successful delivery of SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT Application team providing Tier-2/Tier-3 SAP functional support for MAKE business processes, including: Production Planning & Execution (PP), Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Subcontracting Processes
• Manage and resolve production incidents, service requests, and application issues while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with Business, Development, Integration, and Basis teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP S/4HANA issues.
• Monitor application and integration errors using SAP S/4HANA messaging frameworks and AIF monitoring.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) initiatives and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
• Review enhancements and production deployments while ensuring proper knowledge transfer and documentation.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain support runbooks, knowledge bases, and operational procedures.
• Participate in: Functional design workshops, Solution reviews, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities
• Ensure robust transport management, change control, and production risk mitigation practices.

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Experience

• 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 3 full-cycle implementations
• Strong expertise in any two of the following modules: SAP PP, SAP QM, SAP PM
• Hands-on SAP production support experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments

Deep understanding of:

• Production Order Lifecycle
• Order Types & Number Ranges
• Release & Confirmation Profiles
• Settlement Rules
• Material Master (MRP & Work Scheduling Views)
• BOMs, Routings, and Production Versions
• MRP Live and MD04 Analysis
• Experience integrating SAP with: MM, QM, FI/CO, EWM, MES, Third-party/internal applications via APIs
• Strong troubleshooting skills for: MRP Logs, Production Planning issues, Integration failures, Master data inconsistencies
• Experience with: Incident Management, SLA-driven Support, Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Fiori Applications
• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles
• Exposure to: SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, ITIL practices, ALM Tools
• Experience with: S/4HANA Conversions & Migrations, CDS Views, Embedded Analytics & Reporting
• Understanding of: ABAP Debugging, SAP Logs & Traces
