Role: Senior Producer

Location: Chicago, Illinois

About the role:

As Senior Producer, you are the production engine of the studio. You'll manage complex, multi-format projects simultaneously — keeping them on time, on budget, and to a high standard — while staying a trusted partner to creative, account, and brand teams throughout. You'll navigate union and non-union production environments, lead vendor relationships, and ensure the financial and logistical integrity of every project from brief to final delivery.

What you will be doing:

• Own end-to-end production for photo, video (short and long form, motion graphics, animation), and experiential/event projects — in-studio, on-location, and remote.
• Lead pre-production planning including crew assembly, location logistics, talent casting, permit coordination, and shoot scheduling.
• Manage post-production workflows for motion and stills, directing editors, motion designers, and retouchers to meet quality and deadline expectations.
• Partner with brand teams to review project briefs and advise on the most effective production approach to meet creative and commercial goals.
• Guide the creative team in developing concepts that are logistically and financially executable without compromising output quality.
• Manage the full vendor bidding process: sourcing, negotiating, and presenting competitive bids for brand approval.
• Navigate SAG and non-union talent requirements, including executing and renewing talent usage contracts in line with current best practices.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation and keep all stakeholders informed of progress, next steps, and deadlines at every phase.
• Act as a clear, consistent point of accountability between creative and brand teams — aligning priorities to produce the best possible output.

What you need to be great in this role:

• Solid experience as a Producer or Production Manager within a production company, agency, or in-house studio, across digital, social, broadcast, and experiential formats.
• A proven track record managing complex, multi-format productions: photography (stills, GIFs, cinemagraphs), video (short and long form, motion graphics, animation), and live events — in-studio and on-location.
• Experience creating, managing, and reconciling production budgets across a wide range of project scales.
• Confidence managing vendor relationships: sourcing crews, negotiating rates, and holding external production partners to quality and timeline standards.
• Working knowledge of SAG and non-union talent guidelines, including talent usage contract execution and renewal.
• Familiarity with social and digital content formats and platform-native delivery best practices.
• Strong communication and organisational skills: clear with stakeholders, current on documentation, and proactive about flagging issues before they become problems.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a demanding environment, adapting quickly as priorities shift.
• Willingness to travel for shoots when required.

At the time of thisposting, the base salary for this position may range according to what's stated below. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.

Salary Range: $102,000 — $114,000 USD
