Job summary

Mykelly is seeking a Sr. Instrument Technician in the East area of PR to calibrate and service instruments across manufacturing, utilities and labs. The role requires an Associate degree in Instrumentation and involves documentation, calibration PMs, repairs and troubleshooting.

Shift work is 12 hours (5:00am–5:30pm) with differential. Salary is $25.00 per hour plus shift differential. PR location and regulatory environment apply.

Qualifications

  • GxP documentation experience is required.
  • Basic calibration of temperature, pressure, level and analytical instrumentation is required.
  • Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures knowledge is required.
  • Strong instrumentation knowledge and troubleshooting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced calibrations of process and utility instruments.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory for equipment/systems.
  • Complete calibration paperwork and instrument files accurately.
  • Evaluate calibration cycles and optimize the program.
  • Develop and maintain a training program for the team.

***ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN INSTRUMENTATIONIS REQUIRED***

Salary:$25.00 p/h (plusshiftdifferential)

In this role you’ll be responsibleperforming/providing calibration, documentation of instruments and equipment used in manufacturing, utility plants, and analytical labs. In addition, will support the new product introduction, execution of calibration PM, repair activities and troubleshooting equipment and system.

Schedule:Available to work 12 hrs. shift (5:00am to 5:30pm)

Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/systems.
  • Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
  • Evaluate the current calibration cycles and make appropriate changes to optimize the calibration program.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed training program for the team in order to develop team’s knowledge in all areas of the plant.
  • Develop, revise, and review SOPs for related areas. Design, install, configure, and start-up multiple instruments and microprocessor based controllers used for process control. Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software problems for computer based process control systems.
