Job description

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Sr. Information Assurance Team Lead to support our government customer primarily located in the National Capital Region (Washington, D.C. and/or Germantown, MD).

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the team of SMEs assigned to Information Assurance activities.
2. Provide management support, focusing on the Information System Security Officers, the Information System Security Manager, and the Authorizing Official Designated Representative resource allocation and management.
3. Assist in developing and maintaining cybersecurity documentation such as security plans (ISSPs), security baselines, risk assessments, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
4. Ensure systems comply with Federal requirements and government baselines, in accordance with NA-IM cybersecurity policies.

Qualifications:

• Must obtain and maintain DOE derivative classifier certifications.
• Must have a professional certification as listed in DoD 8140, such as CISM or CISSP, or be able to obtain it within 6 months of hire or contract start.
• Prior experience leading cybersecurity teams, preferably Information Assurance teams.
• Strong documentation, organization, communication, assessment, and review skills related to federal requirements, contractual obligations, and external audits.
• Ability to support day-to-day operations aligned with NNSA OCIO and Federal stakeholders.

Citizenship and Clearance:

• Must be a U.S. citizen by birth or naturalization; Green Card or Visa holders are not eligible.
• Top Secret and/or Q Clearance is required.
