Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation seeks an experienced IT Security Analyst in Dallas, TX with SailPoint development expertise to build workflows, SCIM/API connectors, and support provisioning across systems. You will collaborate with users and staff to monitor access, review reports, and enforce RBAC and audit readiness.

The role requires strong scripting in PowerShell and SQL, familiarity with VSCode and Postman, and the ability to mentor peers while guiding enterprise-wide security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS or related field with 3 years technical experience.
• Associate's degree with 5 years related technical experience; equivalent.
• Experience with Identity Governance & Lifecycle tools such as RSA, Okta, and Ping is a plus.

1. We are looking for someone with proficient experience in SailPoint Development related to: developing workflows, SCIM connectors, API-based integrations, resolving errors via VSCode or Postman, supporting JDBC connectors
2. Experience in application onboarding for SailPoint SaaS connectors, JDBC connectors, and SCIM connectors required
3. Scripting language experience preferred with powershell and SQL

Primary Duties

1. Provides troubleshooting assistance to users regarding complex security and access issues.
2. Partners with users and internal/external staff to monitor reports and departmental level security access within applications or systems.
3. Reviews reports, statistics, and interacts with customers and recommends changes to management.
4. Provides one-on-one training and day to day guidance to users and less experienced IT analysts and peers.
5. Maps and reviews workflows in provisioning users into our systems and infrastructure. Recommends and makes application configuration changes as needed.
6. Identifies and recommends provisioning and Identity Access Management process changes that improve productivity and customer service.
7. Reviews and approves access requests. Provides Role Based Access Control (RBAC) to individual users and performs recertification based on segregation of duties and roles.
8. Complies with internal and external audit requests. Provides data for audit indicating changes made to access control lists to facilitate audits and other investigations.
9. Provides support, guidance, and mentorship for IT Security Analysts. Reviews Analyst productivity and recommends changes as needed.
10. Provides technical advisement internally across the Enterprise.
11. Monitors the effectiveness of the Enterprise-wide information security program.
12. Applies Information Technology security methodologies, policies, procedures and standards as directed to protect information availability and integrity. Documents changes and provides team leadership as necessary.
13. Stays abreast of hardware, software and methodologies regarding data security and access control.
14. Along with leadership recommends and implements new IT access tools and process improvements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

Educational/Experience Level

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Business or related field and three years of related technical experience; or
2. Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Business and five years related technical experience; or equivalent.
3. Prior leadership experience welcome.
4. Experience with Identity Governance & Lifecycle tools such as RSA, Okta, and Ping a plus. Experience with AD end user computer is also a plus.

Communication Skills:

Requires proficiency in English, the ability to communicate (both oral and written), and the skills to inform, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external customers and senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature.

Numeric Skills:

Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.

Computer Skills:

Required Computer Skills:

1. Experience with vulnerability management, log management, analysis, and monitoring, virtual private networks, virtualization, firewalls, web application security concepts and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
2. Experience with operating systems (UNIX/Linux, Windows), internet applications (electronic mail, web, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP), desktop software (Microsoft Office, virus detection programs), encryption (SSL, TLS, IPSEC) and networking hardware and software.
3. Understanding of protocols and standards such as TCP/IP, LDAP and 802.1x and network management tools such as SNMP, and NIST.
4. Knowledge of local and federal law enforcement practices, procedures, and evidential chain of custody, as related to IT security incidents.
5. Strong knowledge of network packet analysis tools (ex, WireShark).

Preferred Computer Skills:

1. Professional security certification (i.e., CISSP, ISSP, SSCP, GIAC, etc.).
2. Utility scripting and programming (Python, Powershell and Bash) and network operations.

Work Conditions:

Works in an office environment.
