Job description

As a Senior Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), JSON, REST APIs, and XML technologies within the Utilities domain. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance data exchange, improve system performance, and drive sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement high-quality software solutions using IBM Ace ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize JSON and Rest API integrations enhancing system performance and user experience.
• Analyze and transform XML data structures to support seamless data exchange across various platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure reliability and efficiency in the Utilities domain.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Maintain up-to-date documentation of software designs and processes facilitating knowledge sharing and project continuity.

What you need to have to be considered:

• Demonstrate proficiency in IBM Ace with a proven track record of successful project implementations.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of XML data structures and their application in software development.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $102,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
