Cognizant in New York, NY seeks a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend services for Asset and Wealth Management platforms.
You will leverage Java, Spring Boot, and AWS to build enterprise-grade, cloud-ready backend services, optimize relational databases, and collaborate with product owners and architects to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

The candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and relational databases, with the ability to build enterprise-grade solutions that enhance client value and support digital transformation initiatives.
We support a hybrid work model. This role requires 3 days a week in a client office in New York, NY based on business requirements. We strive to provide flexibility and support a healthy work-life balance through wellbeing programs. The specific working arrangement is subject to project and client needs and will be communicated clearly.
Please note: Some roles may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations, depending on project or client needs.
The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 and $141,500, depending on experience and other qualifications. This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the terms of applicable plans.
