The University of Miami/UHealth Facilities has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Sr. HVAC Mechanic to inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain HVAC systems, circuits, and equipment across the UHealth Medical Campus.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience, a Miami-Dade County Journeyman license, and a Florida driver’s license. You will keep logs, ensure safety, communicate risks to management, and uphold university policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant HVAC experience.
• Valid Journeyman license from Miami-Dade County.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain HVAC systems, circuits, and equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; maintain daily repair logs.
• Test equipment performance and advise on risk factors beyond capability.
