Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr HSSE Excellence Associate – Data Analyst to act as the analytical backbone for enterprise HSSE reporting. The role goes beyond maintaining data tools, requiring HSSE expertise to interpret data and ask the right questions.

You will develop, maintain, and optimize digital HSSE tools, dashboards, and interfaces, while independently managing analysis and reporting that inform Executive Committee decisions.

• Analyzes HSSE data with a trained eye for what it means: identifies gaps, anomalies, inconsistent trends, or reporting irregularities — such as near-miss underreporting, lagging indicator drift, or incomplete incident classification — and flags them proactively
• Independently manages, processes, and publishes HSSE data reports, statistics, and analyses for the team, in alignment with broader RWE AG reporting standards
• Serves as the HSSE department's administrator and point of contact for the development, maintenance, and optimization of HSSE-related software, digital tools, dashboards, and interfaces
• Performs HSSE data management, analyses, and reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, defensible, and useful for HSSE decision-making
• Supports the organization and maintenance of digital HSSE documentation and records, including the HSSE Management System, applying working knowledge of HSSE recordkeeping standards to catch errors or omissions before they become compliance issues
