Job summary

Qcells North America in Irvine, CA is seeking a Sr. HR Specialist to support HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, and policy administration in a hybrid role based in Irvine.

The role is hands-on, systems-savvy, culturally agile, and operates in a fast-paced, global environment. You will coordinate recruiting, manage offers, partner with payroll and benefits, handle HR requests, ensure compliance, and analyze HR metrics to support leadership.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations, Recruiting or equivalent roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS platforms, ATS systems, and HR operations workflows
  • Hands-on experience supporting benefits, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, and recruiting
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and HR compliance
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong service‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency across HR workflows

As a Sr. HR Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting various functions of the Human Resources department including (but not limited to) talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, employee leave, training and administration of company policies. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, systems‑savvy, culturally agile, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, global environment. This role is hybrid, based in Irvine CA.

Responsibilities
