Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Sr. HR Representative to provide strategic counsel to business leaders nationwide and to ensure a compliant, high-performing workplace across distribution centers and regional offices.

The role demands an energetic, influential approach and a commitment to integrity and customer focus in HR practice. You will partner with senior leaders, guide staffing and development initiatives, and drive culture improvements while ensuring HR processes, policies, and data systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent required
• 3+ years HR experience across major HR functions
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM cert preferred
• Experience leading organizational change
• Experience partnering with senior management

Responsibilities

• Guide managers on people-related matters within the organization
• Advise hourly and exempt associates
• Drive site climate and culture initiatives
• Conduct internal investigations as needed
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and laws
• Oversee HR audits and policy adherence
• Train managers on interviewing, hiring, performance reviews and harassment prevention
• Provide coaching and feedback to leaders; listen and clarify
• Support staffing, succession planning and HR programs
• Assist with compensation and benefits administration
• Maintain data in HRMS and EOS processes

The Sr HR Representative role has a national salary range of $70,000 - $115,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $115,000 and Washington is $80,169 - $115,000.

• Provide guidance and recommendations to business managers on matters that may impact people within the organization
• Serve as an advocate and counsel to hourly and exempt associates
• Drive initiatives/activities in support of site climate and culture
• Manage and conduct internal investigations as needed
• Ensure compliance with required regulations, policies, and laws related to Human Resources activities
• Ensure the administration of audit activities for compliance within HR policies and procedures
• Ensure management is trained in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
• Provide feedback and coaching to managers, actively listen and ask searching clarifying questions in regards to associates
• Manage staffing, succession planning and associate programs and processes
• Implement/manage training and development activities and monitor effectiveness
• Administer compensation and benefits systems, processes, and employee communications
• Administer action planning activities related to the annual EOS process
• Administer compliance with our performance management systems
• Enter and maintain data in HRMS system

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent 4 years work experience, required
• 3+ years of experience in HR with exposure to all major functional areas of HR
• PHR/SPHR SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification, preferred
• Proven experience of leading deployment of organizational change
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• Previous experience partnering with senior management, required
• Knowledge of HR Metrics, preferred
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases, preferred
• Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices, preferred
• Experience with conflict resolution, preferredExperience with investigations, preferred
• Experience with data analytics, preferred
• Experience facilitating trainings, preferred
• Experience with onboarding, preferred
