Job summary

Premier Restoration Hawaii is seeking an experienced HR professional who thrives on solving people challenges and partnering with leaders to strengthen the organization. In-State Applicants Only, you will be actively involved in recruiting, coaching, employee relations, compliance, and process improvements across the employee lifecycle.

You will build relationships with leaders, support workforce planning, and help shape the employee experience in a growing local company.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
  • Ability to independently manage sensitive employee matters.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through onboarding.
  • Partner with leaders to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Deliver an organized, consistent onboarding experience.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and recommend process improvements.
  • Coach leaders through employee relations matters and workplace issues.
  • Conduct investigations and support corrective action and termination decisions.
  • Apply company policies consistently and fairly.
  • Resolve complex employee situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and policy administration.
  • Coordinate leave programs including Workers' Compensation, TDI, FMLA, ADA, and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Identify risks and recommend practical solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and leaders across the organization.
  • Support leadership development and accountability initiatives.
  • Assist with workforce reporting and HR metrics.
  • Partner with Payroll and Shared Services to ensure accurate employee information.
  • Participate in special projects that improve the business.

What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through onboarding

What We’re Looking For
Required
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Ability to independently manage sensitive employee matters
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business judgment and decision-making ability
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Experience supporting construction, restoration, manufacturing, or other operational environments
  • Experience supporting multi-site or rapidly growing organizations
