Doble Engineering seeks a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support the Accident, Maryland team, delivering best practices, policy adherence and HR services to all staff. The role partners with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.

You will manage employee relations, talent management, performance and compensation programs, and assist with EEO and ADA compliance, reporting to the Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with business or HR focus and 7+ years progressive HR experience.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, comparable related HR experience will be considered.
  • Experience delivering HR services in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Experience with employment law, EEO/ADA compliance and policy administration.

Job description

A Senior Human Resources Generalist at Doble Engineering will support the Doble team located in Accident, Maryland. This position is an integral part of the US Human Resources team delivering best practices, policy adherence, and HR services to all levels of staff. The successful individual will represent Doble Engineering in a highly ethical and professional manner. This individual must be highly motivated, organized, and self- directed, who can handle a variety of sensitive and confidential matters.

This position will have exposure and involvement in several functional areas within the full range of HR; including but not limited to recruitment, talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and legal compliance. The role is located at Doble Engineering’s Accident, Maryland location and will report to the Director of Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals that drive performance, engagement, and
  • Provide consultation, insight and guidance and coaching to managers and employees in a wide variety of HR related areas, such as talent management, organization design, and workforce
  • Collaborates closely with executives and managers to optimize workforce productivity to achieve business
  • Manage employee relations matters, providing coaching and resolutions to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Collaboratively works with other members of the human resources team on various programs including compensation planning, employee engagement, and culture building
  • Analyze current HR programs and trends to evaluate effectiveness of programs; participant in surveys and benchmarking
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services
  • Flexible attitude with a commitment to achieve time sensitive results in a fast-paced
  • Ensure employees and managers are provided with development
  • Will collaborate with external key stakeholders, such as local colleges, technical schools, etc.
  • Look for opportunities to expand Doble’s employment brand in the local community.
  • Active participant on internal Employee Engagement committee / team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

A bachelor's degree with business or HR focus and 7+ years progressive HR experience, working within a fast-paced, complex, business environment. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, comparable related HR experience will be considered.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (Not Required):
  • Experience using UKG
  • Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job related skills, as well as relevant education or training experience.
Salary Pay Range Minimum $84,508 - Midpoint $105,635
