Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, test, operate and maintain products with full stack ownership. You will drive architectural decisions, ensure compliance and security, and improve operational reliability across complex Hogan systems and release processes.

The role requires 5–6 years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle nonstandard hours. Remote and hybrid work options may apply depending on location, with onsite days as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five to six years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to provide technical architectural direction input for Hogan systems processing, Hogan Release System.
  • Knowledge of tools like GitLab, CD/CI pipelines, Java, Groovy, Python.
  • Open to work nonstandard work hours and workdays.
  • Ability to design, build, test, debug and document system software and hardware solutions
  • Ability to provide technical consulting on complex projects
  • Ability to formulate and define specifications for complex operating system software and hardware
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Description
  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products

This role may be designated as U.S. home-based remote. However, if the selected candidate resides near a U.S. Bank location, they will be expected to work onsite three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00
