Job summary

Primoris Power Solutions, LLC seeks an experienced procurement professional to support high‑voltage EPC projects. You will manage supplier relations, prepare RFPs, and perform commercial evaluations while ensuring adherence to procurement policies and project schedules.

The role requires 5+ years of EPC procurement experience, strong MS Excel/Projects skills, and familiarity with Autodesk Suite and Vista Viewpoint. Remote work may be considered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, supply chain, or business administration; 5+ years in high voltage EPC purchasing.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, and construction principles.
• Knowledge of contract management.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support pursuit and project schedule requirements.
• Prepare bidders list and solicit pre-qualification information; analyze and present recommendations.

Job Function and Responsibilities

• Understandss and supports pursuit and project schedule requirements
• Prepares the bidders list with input from the Project Manager and Procurement Manager solicits pre-qualification information from suggested bidders, and analyzes/presents final recommendations
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the procurement of materials
• Prepares requests for proposals and coordinates the issuance of any additions
• Receives proposals and prepares commercial evaluations
• Inclusion of necessary prime contract requirements in all contracts
• Reviews, negotiates, and obtains final approval of any deviations from procurement policies and procedures and/or project-specific terms and conditions
• Maintains positive long-term relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Evaluates and determines MBE/WBE requirements for each proposal and ensures good faith effort is made as appropriately (in collaboration with the Project Manager, Estimating Manager, and Pre-Construction Manager)
• Expedites equipment and materials to ensure on-time delivery per the project schedule
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
• Performs special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested.
• Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position for this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• BS degree in engineering, supply chain, business administration 5+ years of experience in high voltage EPC purchasing.
• In depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement, as well as construction principles and processes.
• Knowledge of contract management.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast pace, professional, team environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and in support of project schedules and other deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Excel, MS Project required.
• Experience with Vista Viewpoint is preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk Suite is preferred.
