Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 4-6 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in color correction, image resolutions, advanced photography skills and current workflow procedures.
  • Skills in post-production editing.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Spark.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and various Adobe software systems.
  • Ability to use Mac and PC.
  • Knowledge of graphic illustration and art design principles and concepts.
  • Proficient with AI tools for image generation, video and design.
  • Editorial/Print Publication experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use artistic skills and basic design principles to determine the best visual effect in planning, developing, and designing creative, aesthetic materials that are targeted to a specific audience.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of designs fit align with company goals and brand guidelines.
  • Keep company brand guidelines up-to-date.
  • Interpret client needs into multiple design options that allow flexibility in achieving the project's goals and develop a plan to conform to appropriate time and budget constraints.
  • Review and follow all art projects from conception to print to ensure the production of the highest quality.
  • Research design trends to keep abreast of industry trends, techniques, technology, and software.
  • Oversee specifications for print requirements such as color, size, layout, type of paper, and other features.
  • Coordinate with various departments and customers to determine project needs,develop a project plan, andproduce visual solutions.
  • Determine ways to enhance the company’s designs from those of competitors.
  • Influence others on company policy and procedure to resolve a wide range of issues.
  • Make process and business decisions based on understanding of company and customer as well as industry practices, standards, and trends.
  • Perform high quality analysis consistently.
  • Finds ways to assess and apply innovative ideas to enhance business results.
  • Successfully lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

What we need:

The Sr. Graphic Designer is a high performing contributor that works to facilitate and support marketing functions and projects. This role uses artistic skills and basic design principles to determine the best visual effect in planning and designing various printed and multimedia graphic art projects from concept origination through the printing process.
