Location: Hybrid (Main Office Located in San Jose with our satellite located in Capitola)

Pay: $120-$140k

The Opportunity:

Are you interested in a Sr. Geotechnical Engineering position that allows you to own your projects from cradle to grave? At C2Earth, we work to optimize our employees' career development by exposing them to the entirety of each assigned project. This includes developing scopes of work, preparing budgets, conducting subsurface exploration programs, mapping geologic/engineering site conditions, performing laboratory testing, drafting, analyzing collected data, writing reports, and overseeing contractors' proper execution of the approved plan.

You Will Have the Opportunity to:

• Work with subcontractors to schedule field work & obtain permits from local agencies
• Oversee drilling test pit/trench operations
• Observe fieldwork and manage recording of data
• Create slope profiles and field maps
• Conduct laboratory testing
• Prepare illustrations and conceptual design figures for publication
• Assist with analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting collected data and measurements
• Gain working knowledge of engineering, geologic, and geotechnical engineering concepts and project requirements
