Job summary

Akraya is seeking a focused automotive functional safety engineer to ensure system safety across the product lifecycle. You will develop and decompose safety requirements, review analyses, and guide safety-related decisions with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced OEM or Tier 1 environment.

Lead the creation of safety processes and tools, ensuring program readiness for ISO 26262 compliance and robust hazard mitigation throughout development.

Qualifications

Job Summary

This role focuses on ensuring the safety of automotive systems through rigorous adherence to functional safety standards. You will lead the development of safety requirements, conduct hazard analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into the entire product lifecycle. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks in a fast-paced automotive engineering environment.
