Job Title: Sr. Full-Stack Java Developer
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: DOE + full benefits

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a scrum team throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, solution design, development, QA, and deployment.
• Develop, modernize, and enhance existing applications or create new enterprise microservices.
• Write automated unit tests supporting BDD or TDD methodologies.
• Assist the QA team in verification and validation activities.
• Conduct application and security code scans and support remediation efforts.
• Create or maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer with projects using Spring Boot, Angular, and Postgres.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring framework.
• Experience building web applications with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of database concepts and experience with Postgres or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of frontend build tools like npm and webpack.
• Experience with unit and integration testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
