GDIT is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for an onsite role in Alexandria, VA. Candidates must hold active Top Secret clearance and Security+ certification, with 5+ years of full stack experience focusing on React and backend Python/Node.js.

Applicants should be proficient with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), SQL/NoSQL databases, and DevSecOps practices including CI/CD and security scanning. US citizen required; onsite 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using modern front-end frameworks (React, JavaScript/TypeScript) and back-end technologies (Python, Node.js, .NET/C#).
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Implement DevSecOps practices across the lifecycle (CI/CD, automated testing, security scanning).
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and modernize existing applications; document architecture and decisions.

Job Summary (Full Stack Developer Alexandria, VA, Onsite)

• Requires active Top Secret Clearance and Security+ certification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Full Stack Developer, with strong expertise in React and back-end development using Python and/or Node.js.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using modern front-end frameworks (React, JavaScript/TypeScript) and back-end technologies (Python, Node.js, .NET/C# preferred but not required).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS), and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Apply DevSecOps best practices across the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, security scanning, and secure development.
• Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and modernize existing applications; provide recommendations for future-state architecture.
• Maintain robust, clear, and up-to-date technical documentation.
• Ensure all solutions align with security and compliance requirements.
• Preferred: Experience with cloud-native environments, containerization, infrastructure-as-code, and modern DevSecOps toolchains.
• Familiarity with legacy .NET/C# applications is a plus.
• Must be US Citizen and work onsite 5 days/week in Alexandria, VA.
