Spatial Front, Inc is seeking a Sr Full Stack Engineer to join our modernization team on a remote basis. You will design and develop new software projects, enhance existing applications, and work with GitHub in an Agile environment to deliver scalable solutions.

The role involves building web services, migrating Oracle to PostgreSQL, and enabling AWS-based cloud migrations, with a focus on education finance survey processing and dissemination.

Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI) is seeking a Sr Full Stack Engineer to support our growing modernization team. SFI was recently awarded the 2025 USA Today National Top Places to Work award and the 2025 Washington Post Top Workplaces. Support the customer’s missions including application development, rapid prototyping, standards development, and research and development of new technologies. Consolidate different components of Education Finance survey data collection, processing, and dissemination into a new system/survey. Work with web services and Oracle migration to PostgreSQL, as well as Cloud migration.

Summary Of Job Functions

• Design and develop new software projects
• Enhance and maintain existing software applications

• Coordinate with Product owners to understand requirements
• Participate in peer testing and demonstrate the development

Responsibilities

• Develop new processing system and/or ingest engine to replace/migrate the existing project supporting education finance surveys
• Enhancing the development of web services and user interfaces for existing systems
• Support the SAS to Python conversion for the estimation and dissemination programs
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain sample generation program from frame data.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required

• In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be US Citizen.

• The salary for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 annually
