JobCubby is seeking a Sr. Frontend Engineer (React) based in the United States to own architecture and delivery of complex React/TypeScript applications. You will lead, mentor, and collaborate across design, product, and engineering to drive scalable, high-quality digital products.

In this senior role, you will define patterns, oversee performance optimization, and guide teams toward best practices while contributing hands-on development and technical leadership in a remote-first environment.

This is a senior frontend engineering role focused on building sophisticated, high-scale digital products for recognized global brands and emerging ventures.You’ll take ownership of React applications from architecture and foundational patterns through delivery and continuous improvement.The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, engineering best practices, and mentorship.You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment.You’ll have the opportunity to influence technology choices, performance scalability, code quality, and overall product experience.The environment encourages innovation, continuous learning, and thoughtful engineering while using modern web technologies.This is an opportunity to create products that people love while helping shape the technical direction of complex web experiences.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the frontend development of complex, large-scale web applications using React and modern web technologies, taking ownership from initial architecture through production delivery.
• Architect application patterns, structures, libraries, and reusable components while establishing scalable and maintainable technical foundations.
• Develop high-quality, performant, and responsive experiences using React and TypeScript, applying modern engineering and design patterns.
• Collaborate with other React engineers through technical planning, implementation, code reviews, and architectural decision-making.
• Establish and champion frontend engineering standards, coding practices, testing approaches, and performance optimization techniques.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to frontend engineers, helping the team continuously improve its skills, practices, and delivery quality.
• Partner closely with designers, product managers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate product requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, maintainability, and overall user experience.
• Help drive projects toward successful delivery while balancing technical quality, business objectives, timelines, and evolving product requirements.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience developing complex web applications, including at least 5 years of hands-on React web development experience.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, including modern best practices, architectural patterns, reusable component design, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrated experience leading frontend teams or serving as a senior technical leader on fast-paced React web projects.
• Proven ability to architect and build React applications from the ground up, including defining application structure, patterns, and technology choices.
• Strong understanding of modern web development principles and the ability to build fast, scalable, reliable, and maintainable products.
• Experience conducting meaningful code reviews and establishing engineering standards that improve consistency and quality across a development team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully leading web development initiatives and guiding teams toward high-quality delivery.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional partners in a dynamic environment.
