Job summary

Cloud and Things is seeking a Sr. Front UI Developer to design and implement responsive, accessible web interfaces for the NYS client. The role focuses on modern single-page applications, consistent UI/UX implementation, and reliable frontend performance.

You will architect SPAs with Angular/React/Vue.js, translate designs into semantic HTML/CSS/JS, and ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance across interfaces. This is a hybrid Albany position with a 27‑month duration and a $70–$85/hour range.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience on complex projects with 2+ years in a lead Developer role.
• 5+ years building responsive SPAs using Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• 3+ years implementing WCAG 2.1 AA or Section 508 accessibility.
• Experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and CSS preprocessors.

Overview:

We are seeking aSr. Front UI Developer who will support our NYS client. This Developer Level III will design and implement responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces for the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) program. The role focuses on modern single-page applications, consistent UI/UX implementation, and reliable frontend performance.

Duties:

• Architect and build responsive single-page applications using Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, semantic HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Optimize frontend applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement WCAG 2.1 AA web accessibility standards across user interfaces.
• Support shared services frontend development and perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• More than 7 years of experience working on complex projects, including 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Developer (Level III).
• 5 years of experience building responsive single-page applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• 3 years of experience implementing web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA or Section 508 compliance.

Desirable Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
• 5 years of experience with state management libraries such as Redux, NgRx, or Vuex.
• 5 years of experience writing frontend unit and integration tests using Jest, Cypress, or Jasmine.
• 3 years of experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD and translating mockups into code.
