Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Front-End Engineer with deep Angular expertise to design and build modern, scalable web applications. This role is ideal for someone who specializes in Angular and front-end architecture, someone who lives and breathes the framework, understands its internals, and takes pride in building clean, maintainable, high-performance user interfaces.

This is not a full-stack role. While you will collaborate closely with backend and platform teams, your primary focus will be front-end engineering using Angular. You will work on enterprise web applications that automate business processes, present complex data clearly, and deliver intuitive user experiences to internal and external stakeholders.

This position is a 3-month contract-to-hire role, with the intent to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for this role at this time.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Angular-based web applications with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Own front-end architecture decisions, including component design, state management, and application structure
• Translate UX designs and business requirements into high-quality, production-ready Angular code
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs cleanly and efficiently
• Refactor and modernize existing Angular applications to align with best practices and newer framework versions
• Actively identify and resolve UI defects, performance bottlenecks, and usability issues
• Contribute to front-end standards, patterns, and reusable component libraries
• Participate in code reviews and help raise the overall quality bar for front-end development
• Support CI/CD pipelines and front-end build processes in partnership with DevOps teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with a strong majority focused on Angular
• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of front-end performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
