Our Overnight Senior Front Desk Hospitality Agents are the face of Sonder, embodying our principle “Extend Hospitality to All.” This role is ideal for those who enjoy guest interaction, creative problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service. They support our Front Desk Hospitality Agents and work at the front desk, ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity
  1. Be the face of Sonder, creating a positive first impression for guests, visitors, and partners at the front desk.
  2. Guide guests through the Sonder experience, maximizing their stay via the Sonder app and self-service features.
  3. Communicate proactively with guests, addressing their needs to ensure a seamless stay.
  4. Handle guest interactions professionally, resolving issues and accommodating requests.
  5. Collaborate with front desk staff and remote teams, taking ownership of guest issues to ensure satisfaction.
  6. Prioritize and delegate tasks, act as a point of contact for escalated situations, and assist in training staff.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces to create a welcoming environment.
  8. Support back-of-house tasks like audits, inventory, and minor maintenance; assist multiple properties as needed.
  9. Assist leadership with administrative tasks to improve guest experience.
  10. In some markets, set up breakfast, serve, and adhere to HACCP standards.
Who We Look For
  • Experience in hospitality, customer service, or related roles; familiarity with customer communication software like Salesforce.
  • Personable, service-oriented, positive attitude; enjoy guest interaction both in person and digitally.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
  • Strong computer skills and adaptability across applications.
  • Organized, hardworking, detail-oriented; thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexible schedule, available evenings, weekends, holidays.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Reliable smartphone for work (expenses reimbursed).
  • Willing to work overnight shifts with premium pay; shift times vary.
Additional Requirements
  • Having a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance is required for some roles.
  • Willingness to travel between properties daily with reliable transportation.
