Job summary

The Intersect Group in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst for an on-site role to lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and financial analysis of IT operating and capital expenses. • Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and financial modeling.
• Experience managing large or complex departmental budgets.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for IT operating and capital expenses.
• Analyze monthly results, variances, headcount, risks, and spending opportunities.
• Build and maintain detailed budgets and financial models for technology departments.
• Evaluate business cases for IT investments, including cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
• Track technology projects against budgets, commitments, and expected benefits.
• Support project capitalization and monthly accruals with the Fixed Assets team.
• Partner with IT leaders and project managers to provide actionable financial insights.
• Present monthly financial analysis and recommendations to Finance and IT leadership.
