Sr.FinOps Analyst - Payroll, Global Employee Receivables Management

Amazon is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to join the fast-paced world of Payroll operations. This role reports to Amazon Finance Operations. We are looking for exceptional individuals with outstanding communication, problem-solving skills, payroll process knowledge, payroll system expertise, and a passion for customer service.

We require a Payroll Analyst with at least 2 years of experience in US Payroll within a large, customer-oriented corporate environment.

Key responsibilities
  1. Process manual check and payslip calculations.
  2. Track, inform, follow-up, and collect any open overpayments or receivables from active and terminated Amazon employees, and work to improve collection effectiveness.
  3. Handle employee queries related to overpayment and receivables.
  4. Collaborate closely with Payroll Operations to enhance employee experience and collection processes.
  5. Work seamlessly with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to provide appropriate responses to employee queries.
Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred qualifications
  • Over 2 years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable, accounts receivable (collections), or general ledger.
