Job summary

Littler, the world's largest employment and labor law practice, is seeking a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst to support and administer key financial systems.

This hybrid role can be based in Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City or San Francisco, offering a competitive salary and bonus eligibility. You will manage system roadmaps, drive integrations, and collaborate across legal and IT teams to optimize finance operations, reports and close processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years related work experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters Elite Enterprise or 3E is preferred.
• Experience with other legal applications preferred - IntApp products, Concur, ARCS, FAS, etc.
• Experience with support and workflow management tools preferred - ServiceNow, etc.

Responsibilities

• Keep current on emerging and mature industry trends across enterprise-class Enterprise Performance Management technologies to inform product roadmaps and ensure best-in-class support approaches.
• Identify opportunities for proofs of concept to support application and platform modernization.
• Identify and implement process improvements that will increase quality, efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain the Firm's Finance application inventory and roadmaps on a continuous basis to reflect current strategies, maximize leverage, provide recommendations for improvement and minimize application overlap.
• Create Business Requirement Documents based on user needs vs. system capabilities.
• Ensures that business requirement documentation is updated at regular intervals.
• Optimize user experience through system design.
• Develop system integrations bridging business processes and systems.
• Drive and participate in development, design, testing and implementation of medium to large sized software projects working closely with various key departments within the Firm.
• Support and maintain existing financial system architecture both backend and desktop as well as related business processes (level 3 support).
• Coordination of break/fixes/patches and support enhancements.
• Participate in monthly financial close/reporting procedures.

The Sr. Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the support and administration of some of the Firm's key financial systems. The position is required to assist with quick and efficient resolution of customer's support needs. It requires a strong working knowledge and previous experience in Enterprise Management system software with a concentration on finance.

This is a hybrid position and can be resident in Chicago, IL, Kansas City, MO, Minneapolis, MN or San Francisco CA.

Pursuant to California, Illinois and Minnesota regulation, the annual salary range for this position is $139,600 -$216,200 and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years hands on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, views, etc.
• Familiar with all tiers of system architecture; presentation, application, data, and others.
• Experience defining, implementing, and supporting software and hardware requirements.
• Ability to create and monitor system performance metrics.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters Elite Enterprise or 3E preferred.
• Experience with other legal applications preferred - IntApp products, Concur, ARCS, FAS, etc.
• Experience with support and workflow management tools preferred - ServiceNow, etc.
• Demonstrate identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Strong background in application support and maintaining effective internal IT processes in both workflow and change management, across day-to-day operations, as well as projects.
• Experience working with external vendors to create implementation plans.
• Strong troubleshooting ability including performing root cause analysis.
• Strong communication ability, both verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task in a results-oriented environment with little to no supervision.
• Proven track record of a self-starter mentality.

Education And Certifications

Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Management Systems or equivalent relevant work experience.
