Are you passionate about leveraging big data to derive actional insights that reshape enterprise level purchasing strategies? We're seeking a Senior Data/Financial Analyst to partner with our procurement and supply chain business leaders to optimize purchasing programs, leverage scale, and uncover growth opportunities. All using the power of big data.
Position Summary:The Senior Data/Financial Analyst will be a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis Department within the Performance Foodservice Segment. The Sr. Data/Financial Analyst will bring advanced analysis, modelling, and performance measurement on projects across the segment. Clear on the purpose of data, how to capture, manipulate, interpret, and apply it, they will demonstrate the value and impact of this sophisticated science to inform performance behaviors and activities. They will describe, predict, and improve business performance, while also bridging data and strategy to tell a straightforward and compelling business story.
Position Responsibilities:What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines, dashboards, and financial models that track spend, supplier performance, and savings
Analyze complex spend and contract data to pinpoint cost-reduction opportunities, demand patterns, and risk exposures
Collaborate closely with Category Managers and Sourcing teams to translate analytical findings into optimized RFx strategies, negotiation tactics, and supplier scorecards
Develop scalable forecasting models and "what-if" scenario analyses to guide annual budgeting and multi-year sourcing plans
Present clear, concise, and compelling data narratives-both written and verbal-to senior leadership, driving informed decisions and change initiatives
Partner with IT/Analytics to deploy advanced tools (ML, predictive analytics, AI) that automate routine analyses and highlight emerging enterprise opportunities
Champion continuous improvement by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), leading quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and embedding best practices across the procurement lifecycle.

Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's in Finance, Supply Chain, Data Science, or equivalent quantitative field
5+ years in procurement finance, strategic sourcing, or spend analytics roles, ideally in a matrixed organization
Deep expertise in data analysis tools: SQL, Power BI/Tableau (or similar),Python/R or similar program language experience and advanced Excel modeling
Proven track record of leveraging big data to influence multi-million-dollar sourcing decisions and supplier negotiations
Strong consulting mindset: you ask the right questions, distill complexity, and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
Excellent communicator who can craft data-driven recommendations and deliver them confidently to CXO-level audiences
Bonus: experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake), procurement systems (SAP), and machine learning frameworks
Preferred QualificationsPreferred Education: Master's in Finance, Supply Chain, Data Science, or equivalent quantitative field
Preferred Experience: 6+ years in procurement finance, strategic sourcing, or spend analytics roles, ideally in a matrixed and/or global organization.
